This particular vehicle is a statutory write-off due to a minor frontal impact. Now, for a discerning parts buyer, this is fantastic news. The impact did not affect the passenger cabin, the drivetrain, or any of the panels from the front doors back.
We Started and Ran the Engine Before our techs started breaking down this motorcycle we performed a start-up, and rode the motorcycle for about 5 miles to asses it’s running condition. The iconic 2.5L N52 inline-6—cut from the same cloth as one of BMW’s final and finest NA straight-six engines—started right up with a faint purr. It idled with the silky smoothness that only these motors deliver, and revved freely, clear evidence of good care. This is a near perfect donor E90 bursting to share its best parts.
