As we ease off tge traffic on a Friday evening past at the shop and workshop here in Perth, it’s quite nice to take from stopping and look back over some of the yarns that have passed through our doors. We look at luxury European models, hardworking Aussie utes and everything in the middle. But in fact, the most important arrivals are sometimes the most familiar ones. Cars that are so integrated into the warp and weft of our daily lives that we hardly recognize them anymore. Today, we’d like to look at one such car: this bold 2014 Suzuki Swift finished in Ablaze Red Pearl QHBoxLayout.
For a lot of Western Australian’s the Suzuki Swift FZ was their first real taste of freedom. It was the car they drove to their first job, the car they took on their first roadtrip down to Dunsborough, the car they relied upon to get them to TAFE or uni day in and day out. It’s a genuine hero of reliability, thrift and thrills. With snappy handling the city of Subiaco is a breeze, and it’s got fuel efficiency like no other (perfect for that run from Joondalup to work couldn’t we all do with that?)
This specific 2014 was obviously loved dearly. You can see it on the neat and clean interior, on the shine that’s still on its non-beaten panels. I wish the worst had not happened to it, but it suffered a pretty big impact in the front end and will no longer be someone’s complete car on our roads. Yet this is not a tale of loss. Tailgate & Rear Bumper: The rear is just like the rest.”) The tailgate w/ glass, wiper motor & badging is ready to bolt on. The rear bumper is there and intact, with none of the scuffs and scrapes that most city cars are covered in.
Side Mirrors: Nobody wants a cracked side mirror since it is not only annoying but also dangerous. We have both electric side mirrors and confirm they work perfectly.
The Clean & Tidy Interior
The interior of this Swift had definitely been cared for. Is clean and odor free, all major components are in great condition.
Seats: Cloth seats are in great shape with minimal rips stains or tears. This is the perfect, comfortable replacement if your driver’s seat has seen better days.
Dashboard & Instruments: Entire dash assembly with no sun fade for the WAs harsh sun. We also purchased the instrument cluster, one that operates correctly and is willing to help if you’re having trouble with your speedo or gauges.
